Discipleship
"Go and make disciples of all nations." Those are the words of Jesus Christ to the disciples just before His ascension into Heaven. What does that entail, making disciples of all nations?
  1. Meeting the needs of the people around us in our "Jerusalem";
  2. Being intentional about extending them the invitation to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to follow Him in faithful discipleship;
  3. Being intentional about training and equipping persons to be faithful disciples (students, followers, servants/ministers) of Jesus Christ; and
  4. Sending faithful disciples into "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth" to tell others about Jesus Christ.

Discipleship is the process of teaching and learning how to be a faithful student, follower, and servant/minister of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship at the Grace Community Church is interwoven into all of our programs. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. In addition, we plan to offer various Bible study opportunities for all ages at different times during the week. Our Kids for Christ (Pre-K through 5th grade) meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m., and Christians In Action (6th through 12th grades) meet Sunday nights at 7:00 PM. We offer small group ministries such as Women of Faith, our ladies Bible study, that meets Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

Each summer we have a Vacation Bible School program for children Pre-K through 5th grades. This is a really fun week filled with lots of activities, fun and learning about Jesus.

Contact the church office for more information about our Discipleship program and how you can be involved.
