Our Pastor

Rev. Emory H. Clark was invited to be the pastor of the South Solon Church of Christ in Christian Union on Sunday, May 27, 2007 and held his first services as pastor on June 10, 2007.

Pastor Emory was born in Dalton, GA on July 3, 1969, was born again on December 27, 1986 and was sanctified in August, 1989. Pastor Emory grew up in Dalton, GA and lived there until he left to attend Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University) in 1989. Pastor Emory graduated from Circleville Bible College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries. Since graduating from Circleville Bible College Pastor Emory has pastored several churches in The United Methodist Church in the North Georgia and Kentucky conferences.

Now having completed 2 years as our pastor, Pastor Emory says, "I believe that God has great things in store for the South Solon CCCU church. I believe that revival is coming to our church. I believe that God wants to bless our church. I am excited about what God is doing, and about what He is going to do in the future. God has brought us together as a church so that we might accomplish great things for His Kingdom, and He has promised to do more than we can even begin to think or imagine."

Pastor Emory has been married to his wife Ruth since December 16, 1989. Together they have two children: Katie, 17 and Charley, 13.

Peggy Snodgrass is the church secretary and can be reached at the church office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and  Thursdays from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
